  • It can be harmful to the transmission of a car to be towed a long distance, which is especially important to consider if the car has an automatic transmission. If that is the case, do consider calling a tow truck instead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • For safe towing, check that the car has working brakes, steering, lights and no punctures. If there are no lights, the damaged vehicle must be provided with a white light and white reflectors to the front and a red light and red reflectors to the rear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • You need a proper and safe tow rope, Never Stop offers tow ropes that are tested and approved with GS certification. Red flag is included, flag must mark the rope if the rope is longer than 2 meters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • You are not allowed to drive faster than 30 km per hour when towing. Stay on the road and avoid highways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • According to the traffic regulations, it is the driver of the vehicle who is responsible for the load being secured in a reliable manner so as not to pose a danger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The center of gravity of the load must be placed low and close to the center of the car. On a trailer, the load must be fastened with tie downs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The tensile strength is the load the tie down can withstand in a straight pull, if the ends of the tie down are pulled apart, it must withstand the specified breaking load.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Keep a reflective vest and a flashing roadside emergency disk in the car, in case you need to stop at the roadside and check the load.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
